Barberton Mines invites unemployed youth to apply for Engineering Learnership / Apprenticeship Programme 2021.
Barberton Mines Engineering Learnership Programme is a unique opportunity to gain necessary skills in the mining industry and also gain exposure to field of expertise as well as acquire critical business competencies.
Barberton Mines aims to provide engineering students with an opportunity to gain exposure to the work environment for a limited contract duration of 3 years as an Apprentice.
The learnership programme are in the following fields:
- AUTO ELECTRICAL
- DIESEL MECHANIC
- BOILER MAKER
- RIGGING
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with pure Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
- N2 with all 4 subjects passed (Mechanical & Electrical)
- Minimum pass rate of 60% and above
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer literacy (Advantage)
- Medical fitness
