BOILERMAKER PLATER

Work Output Description – Provide an engineering technical service to a section at a Business Area. The underground Boilermaker provides engineering technical service to a logistics Supervisor and is responsible for all underground boiler-making within the business area

Minimum Requirements
– Grade 12 / Matric certificate or Equivalent
– Certified competent as Boilermaker (Trade Test) is required
– 3 years underground mining experience as a Boilermaker

DIESEL MECHANIC

Work Output Description – Provide an engineering technical service to a section at a Business Area. The role of Diesel Mechanic is to repair service and maintain all diesel-hydraulics and electro-hydraulics, vehicles and machinery so that optimal utilization of the equipment can be achieved.

Minimum Requirements
– Grade12 / Matric Certificate is required
– Relevant 2-3 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic in a mining environment is required
– Certified competent as Diesel Mechanic (Trade)
– Sandvik or Fermel machines experience

FERMEL AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Work Output Description – Provide an engineering technical service to a section at a Business Area. The Electrician is responsible to provide an engineering technical service to a section at a Unit.

Minimum Requirements
– Grade 12 /Matric certificate required
– Electrician /Auto Electrician Certificate (Trade Test) section 13 or section 26D with record of training
– 2 – 3 years Fermel Machines Experience
– Relevant 2- 3 years’ experience in Trackless mining environment as an Electrician/ Auto Electrician required

ELECTRICIAN

Work Output Description – The Electrician is responsible to provide a technical service to a section or unit. Design, install, maintain and repair electrical systems and products used in the business

Minimum Requirements
– Grade 12 / Matric certificate required
– Electrician Certificate (Trade Test) section 13 or section 26D with record of training
– 3 Years underground mining experience
– Conveyor Belt Experience in a mining environment
