BHP Billiton Says:
We are looking at appointing individuals as either Learner Artisans or In-service Apprentices, where the development focus will be on a single trade, preferably electrical or instrumentation, in order to position them as single trade artisans on completion.
This will mean the following
For a Learner Artisan, you will need an electrical or instrumentation trade qualification, with inadequate or no maintenance experience, in order to qualify. The development focus will be on gap closure training and exposure.
For an Apprentice, you will need a minimum of an N3 with a pass in electrical or instrumentation trade theory at N2 level or a recognised trade certificate. A Code B driver’s licence would be advantageous.
If you believe you are the candidate we are looking for, kindly forward your CV with certified copies of qualifications and a short covering letter motivating why you have chosen this specific career.
