Job Summary

This role reports into theĀ HR Consultant Administration

The main responsibilities of this job are:

  • Provide a high level of reception support services at all times to Sappi employees and customers/visitors
  • Receive and initiate calls promptly and efficiently
  • Conduct necessary system test on the PABX and advise Helpdesk of any system or operating faults
  • Alert Risk Manager and or security with respect to bomb warnings and fire or other major incidents affecting Ngodwana mill
  • Reception area is maintained in a presentable and respectable condition
  • Receiving of incoming mail, deliveries, parcels etc, and arranging dispatch to appropriate receiver and distribute internal mail on daily basis
  • Maintain the franking machine
  • Assist with clerical duties
  • Maintain the notice Boards, at Main Admin and Security
  • Perform BBS observations monthly
  • Maintain portable electrical equipment and list in reception area
  • Apply cleaning and organising practices in area of responsibility
  • Assist with HR Administration duties
  • Maintain the Access Control system for the Administration Building
  • Identify, communicate and mitigate any identified risks

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Grade 12/Matric or equivalent NQF4 qualification
  • 3 Years minimum Reception and Telephonic experience
  • SAP knowledge will be an advantage
