Lots of time spent in foreign hotels with fellow hosties (usually young & attractive) and pilots that you spend large amounts of time drinking with…not a bad way to spend your 20s 🙂 Regularly crossing time zones and never really adjusting. People tend to spend less than ten years in the industry before moving on, not just because of the lifestyle, but also because there’s limited growth (like they say, the “sky’s the limit!”)
