Job Summary

To ensure that the technical QA/QC fields of expertise in Civil Engineering are executed according to the specifications and agreed scope of work: Management of Service Providers according to the contract. Verification of quality and quantity of service delivered. Provide advice and guidance to Business Partners in areas of technical fields. Execution of shutdown and maintenance work. Assist in project execution. Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.


  • Project Management
  • Knowledge of the business/processes/equipment
  • Knowledge of SAP (Plant Maintenance, P&SM)
  • Contractor Relationship management skills
  • Customer relationship management
  • Service Provider management
  • Quality and quantity verification against relevant trade specifications



  • Grade 12/N3 with Math and Science
  • National diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction Management


  • 3 years’ experience in Civil construction
  • Experience as QA/QC will be an added advantage
  • Valid drivers’ license


Operational, Financial and Technical

  • Service level agreement delivery
  • Quality results (agreed standards/compliance)
  • Cost awareness and control
  • Resource utilization and effectiveness
  • SHER targets
