Job Summary

Shoprite is looking to hire a Telesales Clerk works as part of a sales team in a contact centre and needs to be able to facilitate inbound and outbound customer calls. During these calls they need to take orders, advise alternatives, communicate problems and up-sell. They operate as a support to field sales representatives by setting appointments or qualifying prospects. An effective Telesales Clerk builds repeat sales through strong customer relationships by focusing on customers wants and needs.

Shoprite continued supporting tertiary education during the year under review. In addition to allocating more than R16 million in bursaries to 291 students across the continent in the 2017 academic year (and an anticipated R18 million in 2018), they offered workplace experience to public technical and vocational education training colleges and universities across the continent.
