Job Summary

African Bank has a vacant position of a Sales Consultant to be occupied by an an applicant who will meet the requirement. Successful appointed for this position will have to promote and sell the bank’s products to client, ensure effective completion of required administration and customer service and satisfaction. You will also have to Check loan application documentation for accuracy, authenticity and compliance to Policy and Procedures as well as completeness.

Requirements:

  • RE5
  • NQF level 6 (FSB Recognized)
  • Grade 12 or equivalentMinimum Experience
  • 2 – 4 years sales and client service experience

Key Duties:

Performance of key sales activities:

  • Promote and sell new products as the Bank introduce same from time to time
  • Interview Clients to establish the clients needs
  • Phone clients for sales (Tele-Sales)
  • Generate Sales Leads
  • Request referrals from Clients
  • Follow up and make appointments with prospective clients
  • Follow up on status of workflow and applications being processed
  • Keep the client informed at all times with regards to the loan application status
  • Forward the Loan Application to Administration for process finalisation
