This one-year internship is aimed at equipping unemployed youths with relevant skills in the various fields of information technology (IT) within the South African Reserve Bank (SARB). During the one-year period, learners will acquire the required technical and behavioural competencies based on their field of specialisation.
To be considered for this programme, candidates must:
· be a South African citizen;· have successfully completed a National Diploma (NQF6) or a Bachelor’s degree (NQF7) in the relevant field of study;· be currently unemployed and not in any learnership/internship programme; and· be between 18 and 35 years of age.
Candidates are requested to indicate their field(s) of specialisation or preference(s) in any of the following fields:
· Information Management;· IT Security specialist, including Cloud Computing Security, Internet of Things Security, Data Security, Application Security, Integration Platforms Security, Identity and Access Management, Web Security, Network Perimeter Security, Single Sign On (SSO), and Privilege Access Management (PAM);· Integration;· Tester;· Adobe Experience Manager developer;· Natural/Adabas developer;· Microsoft CRM Dynamics developer/configuration specialist; and· Open Text Enterprise Content/Document Management specialist.
