What you’ll be doing Refinery Policy and Procedure Compliance
* Adhere to policy and procedures

Equipment Reliability Operating Envelopes
* Plant/equipment monitoring and corrective actions

Structured Rounds
* Ensure chemicals/products received, stored, loaded correctly

Reporting and Administration
* EROE data capture and highlight deficiencies
* Run sheet updates
* Shift log of usual/unusual activities and detailed handover
* SAP notification
* Sampling and update labelling and log
* Document control

Maintenance Activities
* Monitor maintenance and other activities in the area
* Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance and others
* Reports potential equipment problems to maintenance and others
* Perform minor maintenance

Stakeholder Management
* Relevant communication to appropriate stakeholders, internally and externally

* Implement HSE Practices, incl identify, react, communicate iot prevent abnormal/emergency situations

Abnormal Situation Management
* Respond to upset/abnormal conditions on own area of operation and mitigate negative consequences
* Safety Training Observation Programme (STOP)
* Respond to or proacts plant equipment to maintain steady state
* Emergency Response to abnormal procedures/shut-down procedures
* SIPS Compliance
* Environmental control relating to refinery procedures and equipment
* Fire-fighting if required

Exciting challenges you might face in the role * Must be highly motivated, goal oriented individual who is a self-starter with attention to details.
What you’ll have done before Baseline:
* Matric/Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science
* Chemical Operations NQF 2
Who you are * Well-developed listening, communication and decision-making skills
* Problem solving and root cause identification skills
* Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
