MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:-
Presentation of weather shows “live” on television news

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:-

 Interpret weather maps for live television news broadcasts
 Alert and warn viewers about severe weather conditions
 Present weather reports “live” on television;
 Do live interviews with fellow presentors

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:-

 Undergraduate qualification in, journalism, media studies or related field
 Added advantage Meteorologist/Geography degree
 Good command of the first language
 Television presenting skills
 General knowledge of weather conditions/patterns
